Children Change Colombia Project Talk 2016

Thursday 28th January 2016, 6.30-8.30pm

Children are changing Colombia!

We would like to invite you to Children Change Colombia’s first Project Talk, which will be held on Thursday 28th January 2016 at 6.30 pm.

The Project Talk this year will focus on how, with the support of our partner organisations in Colombia, children are changing their lives, their families and their communities. We will also consider how, in this way, children are changing Colombia.

We will screen a specially commissioned film, which will focus on the work of our partner Tiempo de Juego. For the first time ever we have asked the children and young people themselves to film this. As a result the film gives a powerful insight into their lives as they learn about their rights and transform their way of thinking about themselves, their community and what they can achieve with their lives.

Our Colombia-based Field Officers will be joining us to present further examples from our projects. Through what we hope will be a lively discussion, we will explore in depth what children changing Colombia means.

The evening is also an opportunity to get an update on our work, ask any questions and meet the team.  After the talk, we hope you will stay on to enjoy a glass of wine with the team.
